Jaidyn & Brianna | Tiffany's Maleny Wedding | Sunshine Coast Hinterland

Some weddings you photograph and go home with a full heart and a camera card full of magic — and then there are weddings like Jaidyn and Brianna's that you carry with you long after the last dance. There is something so quietly extraordinary about watching two people who are genuinely made for each other finally get to stand in front of everyone they love and say, I do. When you marry your soulmate, it isn't just a wedding day — it's the moment your whole story changes. It's choosing each other out loud, in front of your people, and knowing with every single cell in your body that you are exactly where you are supposed to be. That's what June 5th, 2026 looked like for these two, at one of the most breathtaking venues the Sunshine Coast has to offer — the stunning Tiffany's Maleny.

Getting Ready: Bridle Guesthouse

The morning of the wedding, both Jaidyn and Brianna got ready at Bridle Guesthouse — a gorgeous property just five minutes from the venue, which honestly makes it one of the best-kept secrets on the Sunshine Coast for wedding morning accommodation. It offers multiple spaces across the property, meaning the boys and girls could get ready completely separately without anyone having to sneak past each other in the hallway.

The guys settled into the front house, which had the most beautiful country charm — think relaxed garden vibes, warm timber tones, and the kind of easy-going energy that just sets the day up right. Jaidyn was in great hands getting ready with his best man — who also happened to be his brother — which just added the most wonderful layer of meaning to the whole morning. Those quiet moments between brothers before a wedding? Genuinely some of my favourites to capture.

Up at the top of the property, Brianna was getting ready with her best friend and mum by her side — and honestly, the laughter did not stop. Not once. Brianna was so calm, so ready, and so completely herself. There was this beautiful energy in the room of a woman who just knew — knew she was marrying the right person, knew the day was going to be incredible, and was just completely present for all of it.

A huge part of that calm, glowing energy? I'm going to give a lot of credit to Louisa from Lulu Beauty. Honestly, if you are getting married on the Sunshine Coast and you haven't looked her up yet — stop reading, open a new tab, and go book her. Her work is stunning, her artistry is next level, and she has this incredible gift for making you feel completely at ease on what can be one of the most nerve-wracking mornings of your life. Brianna looked breathtaking, and the whole getting-ready experience was made even more special because of the way Louisa runs her space. She's that good.

First Looks & The Drive to Tiffany's

Before we headed to the venue, we had the most beautiful first look moments between Brianna and both her dad and stepdad. There are no words for the look on a father's face when he sees his daughter on her wedding day — I will never get tired of being in the room for that. Soft, sweet, full of everything that doesn't need to be said out loud.

And then — it was time. Time to head to Tiffany's Maleny.

Tiffany's Maleny — My Favourite Sunshine Coast Hinterland Venue

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Tiffany's Maleny is one of my absolute favourite wedding venues on the Sunshine Coast. The sweeping, unobstructed views of the Glasshouse Mountains alone are enough to take your breath away — but add in the chapel, the manicured grounds, the observation deck, and the love swing, and you have a venue that photographs like a dream at literally every angle, in every light.

What I love most about Tiffany's (beyond the obvious) is how seamlessly they take care of everything. Styling, catering, florals, the works — it truly is a one-stop shop, which takes so much pressure off couples and means the entire day just flows. Their team is warm, professional, and genuinely invested in making your day everything you dreamed of. If you're considering venues in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, honestly — this one is hard to beat.

The Ceremony

The ceremony was held in the iconic Tiffany's Chapel, which sits perched above the valley with those famous Glasshouse Mountain views stretching out behind the couple. The florals — handled by the incredible team at Tiffany's Maleny — were unlike anything I've seen before, and I absolutely loved them for it. There was this gorgeous hint of purple woven through the arrangements that I honestly don't see often enough at weddings, and it was stunning. Unique, romantic, and completely them.

Their celebrant Cassandra Neilson led a ceremony that was warm, heartfelt, and full of love — the kind that makes you forget you're at work and just feel genuinely moved. Jaidyn absolutely lost it when Brianna walked down the aisle — we're talking full happy tears before she even reached him — and honestly? That's the good stuff. That's what it's all about.

"The best thing to hold onto in life is each other." — Audrey Hepburn

Their wedding day was never about the grand gestures or the perfection of the details. It was simply about two people who love each other more than anything, finally getting to say so — surrounded by every single person who matters most to them.

Canapes & Golden Hour Magic

After the ceremony, Jaidyn and Brianna had about 20 minutes to enjoy canapes on the terrace — and if I could give every couple this advice, I would: please build this into your day. It's this gorgeous little pocket of time where you can exhale, grab a drink, actually eat something, and wander through your guests and soak it all in. More often than not, the ceremony passes in a blur of emotion and before you know it you're in reception mode — so this little in-between moment is just chef's kiss.

Then it was golden hour time. We left couple photos as late in the afternoon as we possibly could to chase that perfect warm light, and the Sunshine Coast hinterland delivered in a big way. We shot on the observation deck with the Glasshouse Mountains glowing in the background, in front of the iconic Tiffany's Chapel, and around the grounds — and every single frame was just stunning.

My personal favourite spot? The love swing and the observation deck. With the hinterland stretching out behind you, it just doesn't get more romantic.

I'll be honest — we technically finished the photo session about 15 minutes before sunset. And then I pulled them back out. And then the sky got even better. And then I pulled them back out again. In the most photographer way possible, I could not let that cotton candy sky go to waste. I could tell they were ready to get back to their guests — but I also know they were quietly stoked when they saw those sunset shots, because they were next level.

Here's something I always say to my couples: if I think the sky or the light is worth it, I will always ask for a few more minutes. Because that golden hour photo? That's the one you're going to print up huge and hang on your wall for the next 40 years. And any photographer worth their salt will tell you — "just one more" always turns into ten more. Every time. 😂

The Reception

Walking into the reception room was a moment. Tiffany's had styled the space beautifully, and the whole room had this warm, romantic, celebratory energy that just wrapped around you the second you stepped through the doors.

And then I saw the cake.

Angela from Cupcake Elegance had created something genuinely gorgeous — the kind of cake that stops you mid-stride. I've been lucky enough to taste one of her cakes before, and I can tell you firsthand that she is every bit as talented as her work looks. It's no wonder she's so sought after on the Sunshine Coast. If you're still looking for your wedding cake, do yourself a favour and reach out to her.

The reception was MC'd and DJ'd by the incredibly talented Anthony from Anthony D Music — who also performed acoustic sets during the ceremony. Anthony is genuinely one of those rare talents who can do it all: set the most beautiful, emotional tone during your ceremony, then completely flip the energy and keep the dance floor absolutely pumping all night long. He also just has one of those voices that gives you chills. If you haven't locked in your wedding musician yet, I'd be getting in contact with him sooner rather than later.

Speeches were given by those closest to the couple — full of laughs, a few tears, and a whole lot of love. The cake was cut, the first dance was everything, and the dance floor? Absolutely packed all night.
