There are some wedding days that just make your heart swell — and Brittany and Byron’s wedding on the Sunshine Coast was exactly that. A day filled with love, laughter, sunshine, and a whole lot of tambourines! From the moment I arrived, I knew this was going to be one of those weddings that I’d remember for years to come.
Getting Ready at Figtree Farm – Noosa Hinterland Magic
The morning began at the most stunning hinterland property — Figtree Farm in Noosa. I’d heard such incredible things about this venue, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Brittany and her girls were getting ready surrounded by rolling hills, sunshine streaming through the windows, and a whole lot of excitement.
The glam squad was next-level, with Rolling Scissors and KJ Artistry working their magic to make everyone feel incredible. There was laughter, champagne, and that beautiful mix of nerves and joy that always fills a bridal suite before the ceremony. Honestly, with this group of girls and such a talented team of vendors, the energy was vibrant, enthusiastic and electrifying. It was so much fun to capture.
A Private Property Wedding on the Sunshine Coast
When I arrived at the private property where both the ceremony and reception would take place, my jaw dropped. This wasn’t just a venue — it was home. Literally! The property belongs to the groom’s sibling’s family, and they had built everything from scratch. Knowing that every fence post, garden corner, and view had been created by hand made the atmosphere even more special.
The Sunshine Coast turned on the most perfect weather — blue skies, gentle breeze, and mountain views that took your breath away. The ceremony, officiated by Wed by Kat, was heartfelt, emotional and full of laughter. Kat also happened to be one of Brittany’s bridesmaids, which made it even more personal and intimate. Looking out to those spectacular Sunshine Coast mountains while Brittany and Byron said their “I Do’s” — honestly, you couldn’t have scripted it better.
Golden Hour Couple Portraits
With the ceremony wrapped up, we made the most of the golden hour light for some bridal party and couple portraits. There’s something truly special about doing everything in one place — from ceremony to reception — because it gives the couple more time to soak it all in without the stress of travel.
Brittany and Byron absolutely nailed their portraits. Between the laughs, the cheeky glances, and the way the light danced across the property, every frame felt like a piece of art. These two have such a natural chemistry, and it really shines through in every image.
The Reception – Dancing, Tambourines and the Perfect Party
If I had to sum up the reception in one word? Electric. Brittany and Byron entered the space with tambourines in hand — a full “The Peads” moment that set the tone for the night. Their family and friends laughed, cheered, cried, and danced the night away.
The food was absolutely to die for, with Chow Street and Im Im Thai serving up some of the best wedding catering I’ve seen. Between the heartfelt speeches, the incredible dance moves, and the golden fairy lights twinkling above, it was a night that felt straight out of a movie.
A Fairytale Ending for a Perfect Couple
Everything about Brittany and Byron’s wedding day was a true reflection of who they are — warm, fun, family-oriented and full of life. From a breathtaking Noosa hinterland morning to a private property celebration under the stars, this day was perfectly them and straight out of a fairytale.
