Love really is one of life’s greatest adventures — and Chris and Rachael’s wedding day was the perfect reflection of that truth. Their September 21, 2025 celebration at Mango Hill Farmstay in Peachester, Sunshine Coast was intimate, heartfelt, and overflowing with warmth. From beginning to end, the day was full of joy, laughter, and sweet, candid moments that captured exactly who they are as a couple.
Chris and Rachael are the kind of couple who make you believe in love all over again — down-to-earth, deeply connected, and completely in tune with each other. Their wedding wasn’t about grandeur or scale; it was about love, family, and being surrounded by the people (and animals!) they hold closest to their hearts.
A Venue That Has It All — Mango Hill Farmstay, Peachester
One of the best things about Mango Hill Farmstay is that everything can be done in one place. From the getting-ready moments to the ceremony and the reception, it’s all conveniently located on-site — meaning no driving between locations and no stress on the day. The property has everything a couple could dream of for a rustic and romantic Sunshine Coast wedding — charming cottages, lush greenery, rolling hills, and even a few friendly farm animals who love the camera just as much as the guests!
The Morning: Getting Ready Moments
Chris started his morning surrounded by his parents and siblings, and it was such a touching experience to document. There was something really special about watching his mum and dad help him get dressed — a moment that carried so much love and pride. Chris also added a personal and sentimental touch to his outfit with custom cufflinks featuring photos of him and Rachael’s dogs, a perfect reflection of his thoughtful nature.
The boys got ready in one of Mango Hill’s charming cottages, beautifully framed by blooming flowers and a creek flowing softly nearby. It was the perfect rustic backdrop for capturing those genuine, relaxed moments before the big “I do.”
Meanwhile, over at the girls’ cottage, Rachael was practically glowing when we arrived — already looking stunning and calm. Her glam team, Emma from Bailey Black Co. and Taylor from Sunday Hair Co., did an incredible job enhancing her natural beauty while keeping her look timeless and elegant. Every detail, from her dress to her accessories, had been carefully thought through, showing just how much heart Rachael poured into her day.
A particularly emotional highlight was when Rachael’s mum saw her in her wedding dress for the first time — a teary-eyed, joy-filled moment that the two of them will cherish forever.
The Ceremony: Heartfelt, Fun & Meaningful
Their ceremony took place just down from the girls’ cottage, framed by the lush surroundings of Mango Hill Farmstay. Officiated by Tina from T-Days Ceremonies, who also happens to be a close family friend. The ceremony was the perfect balance of laughter, sentiment, and connection. Tina brought such warmth and familiarity to the moment — it’s always that bit more special when you’re married by someone who truly knows you.
Chris and Rachael also included a handfasting ritual and exchanged some of the most beautiful private vows I’ve ever heard. There wasn’t a dry eye in sight!
The Reception: A Lunchtime Celebration of Love
Following their early ceremony, the couple celebrated with a lunchtime reception filled with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and delicious food lovingly prepared by family friends. The atmosphere was relaxed and full of joy, a perfect reflection of who Chris and Rachael are — genuine, kind, and surrounded by love.
Every corner of Mango Hill Farmstay offered something picturesque, from the rustic barns to the open paddocks dotted with horses, alpacas, cows, and pigs. For animal lovers like these two, it was a dream come true.
Before we wrapped up, we took an hour for golden-hour couple photos as the light began to soften. The gentle glow of the afternoon sun against the rolling farm landscape created magic — every frame bursting with love, laughter, and the peaceful calm that comes after saying “I do.”
