Ebony and Jordan’s wedding day at The Refinery in Brisbane was one for the books — a heartfelt celebration overflowing with emotion, laughter, timeless moments, and a few unexpected surprises (including a rogue speech you’ll want to read about!).

From start to finish, their day reflected everything a perfect wedding should be — genuine, beautiful, and full of joy, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Getting Ready: Candid Moments & Family Love

We kicked things off with Jordan and his groomsmen at Ebony and Jordan’s home. Spirits were high, and just before we left, the family arrived — giving us the perfect window to capture a mix of fun, relaxed, and emotional family group photos. The moment Jordan’s parents walked in was especially moving — a sweet, quiet kind of love that made for some of our favourite candid captures.

Next, we made our way to the girls getting ready at The Meriton in Brisbane city. We arrived right at the end of hair and makeup, which meant we could dive straight into photographing the final touches, detail shots, and of course, the bubbly energy of Ebony and her bridesmaids. Ebony looked absolutely radiant, and the day was unfolding without a single hitch.

The Ceremony: Love, Laughter & One Unforgettable First Look

Held outdoors at The Refinery, the ceremony was officiated by the incredible Married by Beck. Her delivery struck the perfect balance of humour, sentiment, and storytelling — all while setting the stage for one of the most memorable moments of the day.

Jordan’s face the moment he saw Ebony walk down the aisle? Pure magic. You could feel the emotion ripple through everyone there. It was one of those moments where time slows, and you just know you're capturing something unforgettable.

Portraits & Champagne Pops in the Park

After the ceremony, we took bridal party and couple portraits both outside The Refinery and at nearby Newstead Park. As the cloud cover rolled in, it created moody, cinematic light — perfect for capturing the romantic, editorial-style shots we love.

Ebony and Jordan nailed not one, but two epic champagne pops — honestly, some of the best we’ve ever photographed! Between the laughter, emotion, and that dreamy Brisbane backdrop, every frame felt like a page from a love story.

Reception Vibes: Golden Speeches, Good Food & Dancefloor Magic

Back at The Refinery, the reception was warm, stylish and full of energy. With speeches from friends and family, there was no shortage of heartfelt words and a few teary eyes. But the standout? A rogue speech from one of the grandparents that had everyone in stitches. Unexpected? Absolutely. Memorable? 1000%.

The night wrapped up with a beautifully choreographed first dance and a full dancefloor celebration. Ebony and Jordan’s day was emotional, vibrant and so them — the kind of wedding you don’t forget.
