Getting Ready in Paradise

Elly and Ben both began their day in two equally beautiful locations around Noosa. The boys got ready in a stylish riverfront apartment, where the vibe was relaxed, fun, and full of laughter — a real celebration before the big celebration. Meanwhile, Elly and her bridesmaids prepared at her mother’s home in stunning Sunshine Beach, surrounded by love, calm energy, and excitement.

Elly looked absolutely radiant in her Erin Clare Bridal gown — modern yet timeless, with elegant detailing that fit her perfectly. Her bridal party, glowing with natural beauty thanks to Kate Gibson Makeup and Fox Lane Styling, complemented the bride effortlessly. Every moment was filled with love, anticipation, and joy.

A Riverfront Ceremony in Noosa Woods

Set against the tranquil backdrop of Noosa Woods, the ceremony was truly something special. A breathtaking floral installation by Bloodwood Botanica framed Elly & Ben as they exchanged vows along the river. The setting felt like a scene from a dream — lush, romantic, and deeply personal.

Their ceremony was a heartfelt reflection of who they are as a couple — warm, intimate, and full of genuine love. Personal vows brought tears and laughter, creating a moment that resonated with everyone present. It was a celebration of their story, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

A Sunset Boat Ride to Remember

After some quick bridal party photos, Elly & Ben stole away for a once-in-a-lifetime moment: a private ride along the Noosa River in a classic Italian speedboat. As a photographer, this was a bucket list moment — capturing their newlywed bliss on the water at golden hour, with calm skies and no wind in sight.

It was the kind of fairytale moment you can’t plan — and it was absolutely unforgettable.

Reception at Rickys Noosa

The evening celebrations continued at Rickys Noosa, a stunning waterfront venue ideal for elegant weddings with a larger guest list. Styled to perfection by CL Weddings and Events, the space was both sophisticated and welcoming.

Heartfelt speeches from friends and family brought laughter and tears, before the dance floor lit up with music by Jamie Vale. One of the most touching moments came during the father-daughter dance — when the music briefly cut out, their loved ones spontaneously sang the song, turning a small hiccup into a treasured memory.

Guests enjoyed a decadent cake by Chocolate 2 Chilli, sparkling drinks, and endless joy. The love in the room was palpable.
