Issie and Alex’s wedding day was the perfect blend of faith, love, and family traditions. Every detail — from the heartfelt ceremony at the historic Tamrookum Church to their joyous celebration surrounded by loved ones — reflected their deep devotion not only to one another, but to God and the families who raised them.

This verse truly encapsulates Issie and Alex’s story — two souls brought together through unwavering faith and an unbreakable love that radiated throughout their wedding day.

The Boys at The Kooralbyn Golf Club

The day began at The Kooralbyn Golf Club, where Alex and his groomsmen prepared in the luxurious presidential suite. Alex was calm and collected on the surface, but once our Angela Brushe Photography team arrived for photography and videography, the reality of the day began to set in — and those little nerves of excitement started to show.

As we captured candid shots of the boys laughing, adjusting ties, and sharing a few quiet toasts, we couldn’t help but notice hotel guests peeking in to watch the action. Later, we discovered many of them were wedding guests staying at the same venue — a fun and serendipitous moment that set the tone for the day.

The Girls Getting Ready at Tamrookum Church Airbnb

Meanwhile, the girls were getting ready at a charming Airbnb just a short drive from the church. The space was beautifully lit, soft and serene — a perfect backdrop for the morning’s preparations.

Issie looked absolutely radiant, her natural beauty enhanced by the incredible Ulyana Aster and Lara Quinn hair and makeup team, who made sure every detail was flawless. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, emotion, and anticipation as Issie’s bridesmaids helped her step into her stunning gown.

When it came time for a first look with her dad, Issie hesitated for a moment — but decided to go ahead. What followed was one of the most heartfelt moments of the day. As her father turned around, tears welled up, and you could feel the depth of love and pride in that embrace. It’s moments like these that remind us what weddings are truly about — family, connection, and the love that binds generations together.

Choosing the Right Bridesmaids

Picking the right bridesmaids is such an important part of your wedding journey. These are the women who will calm your nerves, zip up your dress, and laugh with you through every moment. The ceremony took place at the Tamrookum Church, a deeply sentimental location for Issie’s family, where generations before had celebrated baptisms, weddings, and special milestones. The church’s rustic charm and peaceful countryside setting created the most heartfelt backdrop for their vows.

Officiated by the local priest, the ceremony beautifully balanced faith, tradition, and love. The priest’s words reminded everyone that marriage is not only a union between two people, but also a covenant before God — one that grows stronger through patience, grace, and shared faith.

As Issie and Alex exchanged vows and were announced husband and wife, the joy on their faces said it all — this was the start of their forever.

Champagne, Sunsets & Sentimental Details

Outside the church, guests were greeted with an incredible champagne tower by Champagne Soirées — an elegant touch that’s become one of the most-loved wedding trends since 2024. Issie and Alex poured the first glasses together, a beautiful symbol of unity and celebration.

For their couple portraits, we took full advantage of the golden Scenic Rim sunset. A highlight of this session was the vintage car lovingly restored by Issie’s dad — the very same one used at his own wedding. Capturing Issie and Alex beside this car felt like photographing a living piece of family history, a timeless link between past and present.

Their floral arrangements by Bunch It Up added the perfect romantic touch — soft, organic blooms that matched the earthy tones of the Tamrookum countryside perfectly.

The Reception | A Night to Remember

The reception was nothing short of magical, beautifully styled by Simply Seated under a marquee provided by Happy Marquee Hire. Every detail was thoughtful — from the table settings to the breathtaking floral displays. Guests were serenaded by the talented husband-and-wife duo Brad and Brodie, whose music filled the night with warmth and joy.

The couple shared their first dance beneath the stars, before the celebration truly came alive with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt speeches. Their elegant cake by Vanilla Pod was as delicious as it was beautiful, perfectly complementing the evening’s romantic atmosphere.
