On the 3rd of April, 2025, Michelle & Brad celebrated their love with an intimate and heartwarming elopement in the Noosa Hinterland. Despite the soft misty rain that lingered throughout the day, this dreamy elopement unfolded perfectly—from a cozy indoor ceremony to a spontaneous photo adventure across the Sunshine Coast.
A Rainy Day Elopement in a Stunning Noosa Airbnb
Their elopement ceremony was held indoors at their breathtaking Airbnb in Doonan. With the rain gently falling outside, the atmosphere inside was warm, emotional, and deeply personal. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Michelle & Brad exchanged heartfelt vows in a space that felt just like home.
The indoor setup was beautifully elevated by Lunaria Botanical, a talented Sunshine Coast florist, whose lush arrangements perfectly complemented the rustic charm of the Airbnb space. The florals brought in soft textures and tones that tied the entire ceremony setting together.
Couple Portraits at Point Arkwright & Mount Coolum
After the ceremony, we made a run for it to try and beat the rain for couple photos. Michelle & Brad chose Point Arkwright near Coolum as their first portrait location—an iconic Sunshine Coast lookout that offers stunning coastal views and rugged, natural textures.
Then, in a last-minute call, we headed to the Mount Coolum boardwalk, where the mountain gifted us with a rare and ethereal foggy ambiance. This spontaneous choice paid off—Michelle & Brad ended up with some of the most unique and atmospheric wedding photos the Sunshine Coast has to offer.
A Cozy Celebration at The Doonan
Just as we wrapped up couple photos, the rain began again—perfect timing! The newlyweds returned to Noosa to celebrate their love with an intimate reception at The Doonan, surrounded by warm lights, good food, and even better company. It was a day filled with love, spontaneity, and just the right amount of moody weather to make everything feel that much more magical.
