Some wedding days are extravagant, overflowing with guests, speeches, timelines and logistics… and then there are elopements like Keelyn & Patrick’s—sweet, serene, and full of the kind of intimacy that reminds you what weddings are truly about. Their Sunshine Coast hinterland elopement was the perfect mixture of romance, laughter and a little rainforest mud on our shoes (the best kind).

A Heartfelt Ceremony at Tiffanys Maleny

The day began at the ever-iconic Tiffanys Maleny, where the pair chose the beautifully curated Catch & Kiss elopement package. Honestly, if you’re dreaming of an stress-free, love-soaked ceremony with sweeping glasshouse views behind you, Tiffanys has absolutely nailed the formula. I was not apart of this part of the day and the couple had some beautiful images taken by Jennifer Oliphant.

Keelyn walked in radiating joy, hair flowing thanks to the magic hands of EVALYN PARSONS and makeup flawlessly done by the talented Kate Ellen. The moment she and Patrick saw each other… well, let’s just say even the Sunshine Coast breeze paused for a second.

Post-Ceremony Adventure – Mary Cairncross Rainforest

After the formal “I do’s,” the newlyweds hired me to join them on a post-ceremony photography adventure across the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Our first stop was the lush rainforest at Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve—and wow, did the forest turn it on for us.

Picture this: towering trees, rich greens that looked almost unreal, and these two wandering hand-in-hand through nature like they were cast in their own Netflix love story. It was quiet, peaceful, and honestly the perfect way to let the excitement settle before heading to our next epic location.

Petrichor Estate – Iconic Hinterland Views

From the rainforest floor to the rolling heights of Petrichor Estate, our second stop delivered some of the most breathtaking Glass House Mountain views the Coast has to offer.

This location sits right at the top of the hill, overlooking an endless landscape of greens, blues and soft layered mountains—an absolute dream for wedding photos. As the sun dipped lower, we were treated to a sunset so beautiful I actually said “WHAT?!” out loud behind the camera.
Yes… truly blown away.
