Jemma & Cory got married at Tiffany’s Maleny

From the moment we pulled up to the stunning hinterland location of Tiffany’s Maleny we knew it was going to be one for the books. And sure enough, when two of the sweetest people you could ever hope to capture—Jemma & Cory—tie the knot, you just feel the love in the air (and the butterflies in the photographer’s stomach!).

Getting Ready: The Boys

We started over at the boys’ side where Cory, his groomsmen and family were helping him suit up, tie the tie (or bow-tie, as the case may be), probably cracking jokes, getting a little nostalgic, and doing all the things that make the morning of a wedding feel big and meaningful. There’s something so lovely about having your tribe around you on the morning of your big day—those folks who have seen you at your goofiest, your best, your wildest, your calmest—and now they’re there helping you prep for one of life’s biggest moments. It sets the tone.
The greens were fun, the laughs were flowing and it was a fantastic start to the morning.

Getting Ready: The Girls

Meanwhile, over at the girls’ end, we arrived at what felt like the setting of a fairytale: a magnificent house perched in the hinterland, full of light, style and picture-perfect frames. Jemma was already nearly finished with her glam—such a champ! Shout-out to the team at Evalyn Parsons Hair and Melita McDonnell Makeup for making all the girls look absolutely amazing (not that they needed much help).
We snuck in a few fun pyjama shots outside, bubbles popped, champagne glasses raised—because why not start the day feeling like you’re on retreat rather than ‘just another wedding morning’? The walk-in robe upstairs in the main bedroom was stunning (brides, you know the moments I’m talking about) and the whole house offered so many photo locations I could’ve stayed there all day and still not hit them all.

It was a beautiful bonus to have an emotional “first look” moment with Jemma’s mum, and then another special first look with the bridesmaids. Moments like those remind you how deep this is—not just a wedding, but a coming-together of lives, memories, heartbeats. And the girls? They nailed it. Pick the right squad, and they’ll carry you, cheer you, mess with you, hold you. It matters.

Ceremony at Tiffany’s Maleny

Then, onto the big moment at Tiffany’s Maleny. If you haven’t heard of it, let me plug this gem properly: Tiffany’s is an all-in-one wedding venue nestled in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, offering ceremony and reception on the same property—with sweeping views of the iconic Glass House Mountains. With everything from the chapel, gardens, gazebo, styling, florals, food and beverage in-house, it’s one of those rare places where you can relax into the day instead of juggling fifty separate pieces.

We all felt it: the anticipation, the hush before Jemma walked in, the joy when Cory saw her. Officiated by the ever-wonderful Lisa Brereton (check out her celebrant & MC magic at lisabreretoncelebrant.com.au), the ceremony was personal, heartfelt and sprinkled with joy. Jemma & Cory wrote their own vows—and yes, there were a few tears. There’s a quote about love that goes: “Love isn’t just looking at each other—it’s looking in the same direction.” And you could feel that as they stood together, ready to face the world.
All their family and friends furnished the arena with warmth and smiles and you just knew this crew was the kind of tribe you’d want to hang out with for life.

A Bit of Chaos + Magic

Now no wedding is truly complete without a little bit of chaos, am I right? For us, it came in the form of weather-predictions, thunderstorm watch, lightning strikes and an ever-active radar (thanks, BOM!). We were timing the couple’s photos around potential rain, but Jemma & Cory? Game on. Down the road we went—surrounded by lightning strikes and epic skies—and smashed the couple session. They were up for anything: bold poses, fun shots, silly ones, serious ones, and yes, even some behind-the-scenes dodging rain drops.
In those moments you see that when two people are in it—in it for each other—they’ll weather any storm (literally) and look terrific doing it. Soulmates don’t wait for perfect weather, they dance in the dramatic skies!

Reception + Dancing + Celebration

Back to Tiffany’s for the reception and wow—what a night. From heartfelt speeches to belly-laugh jokes, the atmosphere was electric. Food? Always top-tier at Tiffany’s—chefs who love their craft, menus that impress, and timing that keeps things smooth.

Then the choreographed first dance by Jemma & Cory. Seriously, talk about owning the moment. The floor erupted in claps and hoots. And the dancing? People boogied like it was 1999 all over again. The bouquet toss? One of Jemma’s besties caught it and the look on her face was priceless.

Content, Memories & What Comes After

One of the coolest parts of the day: not just the photos we captured, but the fact that Jemma & Cory opted for photography + videography + content creation. My team and I (hi, I’m Angela Brushe Photography angelabrushephotography.com) were buzzing to deliver a content edit within 24-48 hours. Because let’s face it—you don’t want to wait months to relive your wedding day. Having beautiful content to share soon after? Chef’s kiss.

Love, Gratitude & The Best Kind of Day

At the end of the day, the thing I love most is simply love. From the morning laughs, the mother-daughter moments, the vows, the dance floor, the weather (even the storm!)—it’s all about two people choosing each other. The right soulmate makes the right day, and Jemma & Cory—you were that pair.

Thank you for letting us into your world, for every silly grin, every ‘yes’ pose, every bit of genuine heart. And to all the vendors who made this day shine:

Here’s to many years ahead, to adventure and laughter and stormy skies and sunshine and dancing like nobody’s watching. Love always wins.
