On the last day of March, nestled in the lush greenery of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Stacy & Scott shared the most intimate “I do” at the beautiful Lakehouse Folk in Montville. This stunning elopement was everything we love—emotive, personal, and filled with heartfelt moments from beginning to end.
The Lakehouse Folk is an absolute gem of a venue, perfect for small weddings and elopements. With space for up to 15 guests comfortably, it’s ideal for couples looking for a private and meaningful celebration. The property offers endless photo opportunities, from the lake’s edge to the tree-lined paths, and it truly shines as a top Sunshine Coast elopement venue.
Getting Ready on the Property
Both Stacy and Scott got ready separately on the Lakehouse Folk property, which made the anticipation all the more special. There's something truly magical about getting ready in a place so close to where you'll exchange vows — it brings a calmness and a sense of connection to the whole day.
Sunshine After Rain
After a weekend of relentless rain, the skies cleared just in time, blessing these two with the most perfect weather for their elopement. It felt like the universe knew just how important this moment was.
A Ceremony Filled With Emotion
Surrounded by their closest family and friends, and with the incredibly warm and thoughtful Caity The Celebrantguiding the ceremony, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Every word spoken, every glance exchanged—it all reflected just how deep and genuine Stacy & Scott’s love is.
Family, Portraits & Connection
After the ceremony, we spent some time capturing beautiful moments between Stacy & Scott as newlyweds, along with some heartfelt family photos with their son. These kinds of sessions always feel extra special when there’s so much love in such an intimate space.
An Intimate Dinner to Finish
To wrap up their elopement day, Sunshine Weddings styled the most stunning dinner setup under the open sky, filled with thoughtful details and relaxed elegance. It was the perfect ending to a day that already felt straight out of a fairytale.
