Getting Ready in Mooloolaba – Laughter, Style & Sunshine

The wedding day began at First Light Apartments in Mooloolaba, with the groom's party kicking off the morning with a few beers and a lot of laughs. Alex, alongside his dad and brothers, looked sharp in classic black tuxedos—a timeless choice that never fails to impress.

Just next door, the girls were getting ready in the penthouse, and the energy was electric. The vibe was pure joy, and the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Tahnee’s infectious smile. After capturing the delicate details and stunning florals, the bridesmaids jumped on the bed for some playful PJ photos—a fun tradition I love incorporating for bridal parties.

Tahnee's wedding dress, from Luv Bridal, was straight out of a fairytale. It fit her like a dream and was truly a showstopper. Once the glam by Nix Makeup and Hair and Ayloula Hair Design was complete, we headed off to the ceremony.

The Lakehouse Wedding Ceremony – Colour, Romance & Laughs

Arriving at The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast, we were welcomed by a burst of colour thanks to the incredible floral work by Oh Honey Florals. The setting was lush, vibrant, and beautifully styled—ideal for wedding photos. The ceremony was officiated by the ever-charming Caity the Celebrant, who kept the vibe heartfelt, personal, and lighthearted.

Tahnee arrived looking radiant, and from the first look between her and Alex to the final "I do," it was clear these two were meant for each other.

Sunset Portraits to Remember Forever

After a quick celebratory drink with the bridal party, we moved into couple portraits. Despite a week-long forecast of rain, the skies cleared at the perfect moment, giving us one of the most breathtaking sunsets I’ve seen all season. I truly believe someone up above was looking out for these two.

Golden light, still water, and pure love—Tahnee and Alex’s connection was so natural and easy to capture. Their chemistry made every photo feel effortless. As a wedding photographer on the Sunshine Coast, moments like this remind me why I do what I do.

Reception Fun – Dancing, Speeches, and Forever Memories

The night continued with heartfelt speeches, an epic cake from Zoe Clark Cakes, and music that kept the dancefloor alive thanks to Mattyboi Entertainment. From tearful toasts to wild dance moves, every moment was a celebration of Tahnee and Alex's journey together.
