Amy & Michael’s Beautiful Tiffany’s Maleny Wedding | Sunshine Coast Hinterland
24 September 2026 | Tiffany’s Maleny | Angela Brushe Photography
There are some wedding venues that you could photograph a hundred times and still get excited about every single time you pull into the driveway. For me, Tiffany’s Maleny is absolutely one of them.
Perched high in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, with sweeping views towards the Glass House Mountains, a stunning chapel and an atmosphere that somehow manages to feel both luxurious and incredibly welcoming, Tiffany’s Maleny really is something special.
And Amy & Michael’s wedding? Well, it certainly didn't disappoint.
There was a gorgeous bride, a very handsome groom, some questionable weather forecasts, a beautiful Bentley and one very important little dog named Maple who was quite convinced the entire day had been organised in her honour.
Honestly, I think she might have been right.
A Beautiful Morning Getting Ready With Amy
We kicked off the morning with Amy and her girls, and it was exactly the kind of wedding morning I love photographing.
A little bit of excitement, a little bit of chaos, plenty of laughs and those beautiful moments where everything starts to feel real.
The girls were rocking their fun matching PJ shorts, which made for some gorgeous, relaxed getting-ready photos before it was time to get Amy into her wedding dress from After Five.
With beautiful hair by Evalyn Parsons and flawless makeup by Natalie Lucas Makeup, Amy looked absolutely stunning.
One of my favourite moments from the morning was Amy's first look with her dad.
There's something so special about those few seconds when a parent sees their daughter dressed as a bride for the first time. The excitement, the pride and the emotion all wrapped into one little moment.
It's exactly why I love photographing weddings. These are the memories that only become more precious with time.
Meanwhile, we were all keeping a fairly close eye on the weather.
September on the Sunshine Coast can be absolutely glorious, but the forecast was looking a little undecided. Would it rain? Would it hold off? Would we be rearranging the entire photo timeline?
We were choosing optimism. Very enthusiastic optimism.
Arriving at Tiffany’s Maleny in Style
When we arrived at Tiffany’s Maleny, we were greeted by arguably the most important guest of the entire wedding.
Maple.
Amy & Michael's adorable little dog was ready for her moment, and honestly, she understood the assignment.
Before long, Amy arrived in the gorgeous Bentley from Birti Classic Wedding Cars, and can we just appreciate how perfectly a classic Bentley suits a Tiffany’s Maleny wedding?
There's something so timeless and elegant about arriving at a beautiful hinterland chapel in a classic wedding car. It really does add that extra little touch of magic.
With the chapel waiting, their favourite people gathered and the weather thankfully cooperating, it was finally time for Amy & Michael to get married.
A Wedding Ceremony Full of Laughter, Love and Meaning
If there's one thing I always appreciate about a wedding ceremony, it's when it genuinely feels like the couple standing at the front.
And that's something Luke de Gee from Married By Luke does exceptionally well.
Luke has this brilliant ability to balance humour with heartfelt moments, creating ceremonies that have guests laughing one minute and reaching for the tissues the next.
Amy & Michael's ceremony was exactly that.
Surrounded by their loved ones, with the stunning Tiffany’s Maleny chapel framing the occasion, they exchanged their vows and officially began their next chapter together.
But there was also a particularly meaningful detail that made the day even more special.
A beautiful vase filled with lilies had been thoughtfully included to honour Michael's mum, who is sadly no longer with them.
The flowers were proudly displayed during the ceremony and later at the reception, a gentle and beautiful reminder that although she couldn't physically be there, she was still very much part of their wedding day.
It's these deeply personal touches that make every wedding story so unique.
Not everything meaningful needs to be grand or elaborate. Sometimes, a simple vase of flowers can hold an entire lifetime of love.
Wedding Photos at Tiffany’s Maleny (Featuring Maple, Obviously)
With the ceremony complete and the rain still holding off, we headed straight into Amy & Michael's wedding portraits.
And naturally, Maple had to be involved.
Lots of cuddles, plenty of adorable photos and probably a little more attention than the newlyweds themselves.
As a Sunshine Coast wedding photographer, I absolutely love when couples include their dogs in their wedding celebrations. They're part of the family, after all, and they deserve their moment in front of the camera too.
Once Maple had finished her modelling commitments, we explored some of the beautiful photography locations around Tiffany’s Maleny.
One of my absolute favourites is the iconic chapel exterior.
If you're planning a wedding at Tiffany’s Maleny, please make time for photos outside the chapel. It's such a recognisable feature of the venue, and the architecture makes the most gorgeous backdrop for timeless wedding portraits.
We also made our way to the observation deck, where the breathtaking Glass House Mountain views create that classic Sunshine Coast hinterland atmosphere.
And of course, we couldn't forget the love swing!
Between the mountain scenery, beautiful gardens and charming little corners around the property, Tiffany’s Maleny offers so much variety without needing to travel anywhere.
Which is particularly handy when you're trying to squeeze in wedding photos while keeping one eye on the clouds.
A Little Adventure Beyond Tiffany’s Maleny
While Tiffany’s Maleny has more than enough stunning photography locations onsite, Amy & Michael also wanted to venture a little further for some extra portraits.
And I'm so glad we did.
Just five minutes down the road, we found ourselves surrounded by beautiful tree-lined scenery, with gorgeous stretches of countryside and more incredible views towards the Glass House Mountains.
There's something really special about stepping away from the celebrations for a little while.
Your wedding day goes by ridiculously quickly, and between the ceremony, congratulations, family photos and reception, it's easy to realise you haven't actually had much time together.
Taking a little drive gives you that opportunity to enjoy a few quieter moments, soak everything in and appreciate the fact that you're officially married.
Well, as alone as you can be with your wedding photographer and videographer following you around.
Romantic, right?
But in all seriousness, if you're planning a Maleny wedding and have a little extra time in your photography schedule, I'd absolutely recommend considering a nearby offsite location.
There are so many beautiful spots throughout the Sunshine Coast hinterland, and even a short drive can give your wedding gallery a completely different look and feel.
It's one of my favourite ways to add extra variety to a wedding gallery while keeping the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable.
A Beautiful Wedding Reception at Tiffany’s Maleny
After our little hinterland adventure, it was time to head back to Tiffany’s Maleny and get the celebrations underway.
And can I just say, the updates to the reception space have really elevated an already beautiful venue.
The elegant styling, gorgeous floral arrangements by Tiffany's Flowers and welcoming atmosphere created such a beautiful setting for Amy & Michael to celebrate with their family and friends.
Tiffany’s has always been one of my favourite Sunshine Coast wedding venues to photograph, and seeing the space continue to evolve makes me love it even more.
The lilies honouring Michael's mum were also thoughtfully displayed at the reception, carrying that meaningful tribute through into the evening celebrations.
It's a reminder that a wedding isn't just about two people getting married. It's also about the families, the stories and the people who have helped shape them along the way.
And after all those beautiful, sentimental moments?
It was time to party.
With Luke from Married By Luke also taking care of the reception entertainment, the celebrations continued well into the evening.
There was laughter, dancing and all those wonderful little candid moments that make wedding receptions so much fun to photograph.
Nighttime Wedding Photos at Tiffany’s Maleny
Before the night was over, we snuck outside for one last little photo session.
If you're getting married at Tiffany’s Maleny, nighttime portraits outside the chapel are another one of my absolute favourite things to capture.
The chapel takes on an entirely different atmosphere after dark, creating such a romantic setting for a few final photographs.
And after spending the day surrounded by family, friends and celebrations, it's also a lovely opportunity for couples to have another little moment together.
No big elaborate posing session. Just a few minutes, some beautiful light and a chance to capture that newlywed feeling one last time.
The perfect little finishing touch to an already incredible wedding day.
Thank You, Amy & Michael!
