One of the things I love most about Maleny Country Estate is how thoughtfully it’s designed for a full wedding day experience.
We kicked things off with the boys getting ready downstairs in the main house at Maleny Country Estate (https://www.malenycountryestate.com.au)—and honestly, it’s the ultimate groom setup.
From a photography perspective, the clean architecture, natural textures, and open layout make it ridiculously easy to create images that feel editorial but still natural.
Bridal Prep Energy: Champagne Pops & Core Memories
Upstairs with the girls, the energy completely shifted.
Kenz and her bridesmaids kicked things off with a champagne pop, setting the tone for a fun, high-energy morning. Hair and makeup by Erin Delahunty (https://erindelahuntymakeupandhair.com) had everyone looking flawless while still feeling natural and relaxed.
Kenz wore a stunning gown from MWL Bridal (https://mwlbride.com), and it suited her perfectly—modern, elegant, and effortless.

From the ceremony setup to the reception details, everything felt cohesive and intentional. The florals by Cotton Flower Studio (https://www.cottonflowerstudio.com.au) brought in the most beautiful pops of colour—easily one of my favourite floral designs of the year.
A Ceremony That Had Everyone Laughing (and Crying)
Led by The Master of Ceremony, Kenz & Tom’s ceremony was the perfect balance of humour and heart.
There were laughs (a lot of them), some perfectly timed cheeky moments, and then those quiet, emotional beats where you could feel just how much these two mean to each other.
It’s always those in-between moments—the glances, the hand squeezes, the deep breaths—that tell the real story.
The Reality of Group Photos (and Why They Matter)
After the ceremony, we rolled straight into family photos.
Now let’s be real for a second—group photos can take 20–30 minutes. But they are so important. These are the photos your parents print, your grandparents treasure, and the ones that end up framed for years to come.

That soft golden light rolling over the hills? Unreal.

The reception was held in the estate’s newly built space, and it was such a vibe.
